While working on the CEA website, I have noticed that many of our Regional Associations are currently without web sites of their own. In an effort to expand the benefits of the CEA site to our local regions and bring the many advantages of a presence on the internet to as many of the regional associations as possible, the following is a basic outline for a variety of very affordable website creation options.
I am offering 3 basic site templates that will offer choices for different looks and levels of content, as well as the ability to create a completely custom site. Template site creation costs will vary from $250 - $1000 depending on the amount of content, information, and graphics or photos desired, as outlined below. Template sites can later be customized to include any desired features or content. Custom site additions, continued site maintenance and support will be offered at an hourly rate of $65. Web site hosting and domain name registration are billed separately and are not included in the site creation costs listed.
Regional - 1 Template Site / Creation Cost $250.00 (3 page site)
This is an entry - level site consisting of 3 main pages. Each of these pages will include the template framework with all of the links to the other pages within your site.
1. The Index Page
This is the first page your visitors will see upon entering the site. It will include your Regional Name and / or logo and if desired, a limited number of images (1-5) showing your area. (images provided by the client)
and a link to the CEA web site where your visitors can take advantage of all that ceaescrow.org has to offer.
2. A Contact Page
This page should include association addresses, email links to officers or someone who can provide answers to association related questions, phone numbers, etc.
3. Your Choice
Page three can be your choice of an online Events Calendar with meeting times, schedules, etc. An About Us page, giving a brief history of your association, mission statement, or any other information you want visitors to know about you, or an Officers or People page with a list of association officers and their contact email addresses etc.
(Future updates to any of the site pages, officer name changes, etc will be billed separately at the hourly rate of $65.)
Regional - 2 Template Site / Creation Cost $500.00 (7-10 page site - dependant on site content)
Includes all of the above choices (in template 1) and allows for additional pages, images and links to other desired pages within the site. For example, your events calendar items can be linked to related web sites or additional information pages relating to an event such as a sign up form, or perhaps you prefer to incorporate a links page offering users a variety of helpful, related internet sites, etc.

3 - 7. Your Choice
Pages 3 - 7 may include your choice of content. Some suggestions include:
An Events Calendar with meeting times, schedules, etc.
An About Us page, giving a brief history of your association, mission statement, or any other information you wish to share with visitors.
An Officers or People page with a list of association officers and their contact information, email addresses etc.
A Meetings page could feature minutes from previous meetings or information relating to upcoming meetings and events.
An Education page featuring educational opportunities for your members
A Links page with links providing easy access to other valuable sites (ceaescrow.org offers an extensive links section that we can link your users to directly as well.)
A News or Bulletin Board page featuring letters from members, member comments, ideas and more. (This option does require being updated on a regular basis in order to remain current)
A set of rotating banner ads at the top of each of your sites pages
(Future updates to any of the site pages, officer name changes, etc will be billed separately at the hourly rate)
Regional - 3 Template Site / Creation Cost $750.00 - $1000.00 (Pricing dependant on exact content)
This option allows for all of the above options as well as a greater number of pages, graphics and custom options. More pages, more images and more control over the exact features you would like the site to employ. This option is the closest to a fully custom site while still utilizing the template format.
Regional Custom Site / Creation Costs will vary depending on content
Completely custom sites can be created as well. All work will be billed at $65 per hour.

Web Site Hosting and Domain Names
In addition to creating your site, we have to get it online. This is where the hosting of the site and your domain name comes in.
Web Hosting
In order for your web site to be visible to the world, it must have a ?server?. The server or host is simply a computer that is designed to store web sites. These servers are online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year allowing access to your site at anytime from anywhere.
I have a variety of hosting options available at very good rates ranging in price from as little as $10 - $35 per month when paid annually. I recommend speaking with me directly if you are interested in further hosting details and I can help you with the plan that best suits your needs. You may also choose to host with an internet hosting provider of your choice, and I can load your site directly to that server.
Domain Names
You will also want to consider your domain name, or domain address. This is the address that your site will be accessed through online (example: www.ceaescrow.org). We can sign you up for the domain name of your choice, or even put up a site utilizing an existing domain. For example, one of the hosting options I offer is through my online business community net-town.net. Net Town was created as a sort of internet parking lot. I buy hosting space in bulk and then house multiple sites within it. If you utilize this type of hosting, we can simply give you an extension of the net-town address as your location. (example: www.net-town.net/regionalname) there is not an additional fee for this type of domain address. (only the hosting fee)
We can also use what is called a forwarding address. This allows you to use your domain name of choice and locate your site in net-town.net or anywhere else. Forwarding addresses typically run $50 - $75 per year. In addition to any hosting fees.

It is important to note that some types of domain name options will limit the way in which the name must be hosted, so it is very important to decide how you will be hosting your site prior to purchasing your domain name.
